Remember this post? Well I'd forgotten all about it, when I got an email from mum today with photos! :)

The last photo is the charm that I put on the end of the bracelet and necklace. I'd seen them in the bead shop in town, but had never made anything for anyone else so I knew I wanted to get some :) Mum had asked me if I could make her a necklace or something that somehow symbolised us, her kids. So I had a look around on Etsy and other places and found the adorable children charms! I know she loves red (like me), so chose beads in that colour. So there are three girl charms and two boy charms; one for me, one for Lewis, one for Corey, one for India and one for Ebony :) Mum wore it the next day to school (she's training as a teaching assistant) and got a couple of compliments :)
I should really post up some more photos of the jewellery I've made, I'll get round to it eventually!

Haha, thanks :) But yes, yes there is . . .crochet is an end, though I keep trying. I can't dance to save my life. Nor can I sing. I'm also rubbish at video games, unless it's Sims. lol
ReplyDeleteI just have too many hobbies! So many hobbies and so little time. . .

Oooo they're gorgeous, Ashley! Definitely want to see more jewellery pics, as I do love a hand made jewellery ;).
ReplyDeleteBet you could master crochet. I did last year after trying to learn for years. Took a few nights but then I just got it.

It's not nearly as impressive as your lovely beaded jewellery! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make a point to do two or three rows a day, it might help me get the knack a bit better than trying every now and then :) And I'll end up with a scarf at the end of it!
